About me

Anna, a Parisian since 2005, still has a hint of a Russian accent. She has published poetry collections in Russian illustrated with her photography, writes children’s books, organises artistic workshops, but above all she is an illustrator. Her trademark is drawing with real coffee!

It all started in a coffee shop one day, where she was with her 5-year-old daughter Elise who picked up a brush and wanted to draw. Anna had no ink and so she handed her a cup of coffee instead. This was a revelation for Anna, and she has been wandering around Paris with her sketchbooks and brush ever since.

Paris Coffee vol.1 was released in December 2019, first book entirely illustrated by Anna with real coffee. She also worked with Russian edition Eksmo, illustrating Polina Sanaeva’s book “Black turtleneck ”, released in February 2020.

In the same time Anna is developing her artistic work drawing personal projects, making exhibitions and creating comic books.

Her favorite drawings technics are coffee, alcool markers, watercolor and ink.

During the confinement Anna started making online Coffee Illustration master classes for everyone, all ages and all levels and team buildings for enterprises.
